Blake Harrington

Physiotherapist

Having moved to the Central Coast at a young age Blake has been involved with many sports
such as football/soccer, rugby league, cricket, Oz-tag and touch football. He has been a jack
of all sports but master of none, always ready to explore new opportunities and give
anything a go. Being part of sporting teams has driven his love and passion as a diehard
sports fan.

Blake’s interest in becoming a Physiotherapist began after injuring his back in a snow
boarding accident. He experienced firsthand the benefit of physiotherapy and using
movement to heal and strengthen the body. Blake graduated from the University of
Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

Throughout Blake’s studies, he has gained valuable experience from differing clinical areas.
He has experience working with local community sporting teams to representative teams
in sporting organisation such as Newcastle Knights in the Harold Mathews and SG ball cup.
He has also worked in rehabilitation and orthopaedic settings.

Besides Blake’s keen interest in Physiotherapy, outside of work you can find Blake down the
beach with his stand-up paddle board or on a bush walk with his dog.

Blake’s areas of interest include:
Injuries: Injury prevention, shoulder injuries, lower limb injuries and back pain.
Sports: Rugby league, AFL, cricket, rugby union, basketball, touch football, Oz-tag
