Chris Portlock

APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist

Chris is an avid sportsman, since a young age he has participated in a range of sports including cricket, soccer, AFL, golf and touch football. This love of sports led Chris down the path to develop a passion for movement. Leading him to pursue a career in sports and exercise, which eventuated into Physiotherapy.

Chris graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science in 2016, and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Macquarie University in 2019.

Throughout his studies Chris has gained experience across the sports spectrum. He has worked with teams at the grassroots level through to the elite level. A highlight for Chris was completing his internship at the Manly Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League, where he continued to work with the Jersey Flegg Squad.

Now calling the Central Coast his home, you may well see Chris floating around on his paddle board, having a hit on the local golf course or having a kick down at the park.
