Prep to Play
The AFL has developed great resources for women’s AFL, helping ensure our female athletes are prepared for training and game day! Prep to play is aimed at reducing injuries and enhancing performance! Check out their great website for more info!
Foot intrinsic muscle exercises for athletes
- These are great little exercises for running athletes (short, middle, and long-distance), football athletes (soccer, rugby) and jumping athletes (Basketball, volleyball, high jump).
Ankle taping
- Basic rigid ankle strapping to prevent ankle inversion injuries. This taping can be used across a range of sports to reduce the risk of ankle injury.
