Ewan Watts is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong background in sports performance, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning. He completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the Australian Catholic University in 2019 before earning a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2021. Ewan combines evidence-based rehabilitation with performance-focused training to empower his patients to achieve their goals through a personalised approach, helping them to have a greater understanding of their injury.

Throughout his career, Ewan has worked extensively across orthopaedic, sports, and clinical Pilates settings. He has a strong passion for athletic development, especially with youth athletes, having spent significant time working with high-level competitors to guide them from acute injury back to peak performance. Ewan has served as a key clinician in major sporting environments, focusing on:

  • ACL & Knee Rehabilitation: Specialised, progressive rehabilitation to ensure safe return-to-play.
  • Shoulder Mechanics: Advanced management of both acute and chronic shoulder injuries.
  • Hip Injuries: Targeted strength and conditioning strategies to address hip joint pathology and performance.

Ewan is not just a clinic-based practitioner; he has vast experience working directly on the field and pool deck with elite athletes. He has served as the lead physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach for State and National level junior swim squads in Sydney Olympic Park. His extensive background in representative and state-level sports environments gives him a unique advantage in managing the unique demands of competitive athletes, including:

  • Netball Performance & Care: Serving as the Head Physiotherapist for the GWS Fury Netball team (2025 and 2026) and the main physiotherapist for the St George District Netball Association (2022).
  • Track & Field Athletics: Acting as the lead physiotherapist for Athletics New South Wales at both the All Schools competition (2024 and 2025) and the Opens National Championship (2026).
