James Coller

Physiotherapist

James was driven to pursue Physiotherapy after growing up playing a number of sports, along with an interest in helping people to improve their health. He has played for a number of high level sporting teams within rugby union and touch football, as well as being a state representative in athletics. James also has a background in personal training and group fitness, he is able to combine this knowledge to provide an effective rehabilitation plan involving functional movement.

James graduated from The University of Sydney with a Master of Physiotherapy after completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. He went on to work at Liverpool Hospital after receiving a Graduate position where he completed rotations in Orthopaedics and Trauma, Neurological/Stroke, Acute post-op, Musculoskeletal outpatients and ICU.

James has worked with a number of sporting teams at various levels since graduating. Some of these include:
– Basketball NSW U18’s Head Physiotherapist 2020/21
– Kings School Rugby Union Head Physiotherapist 2017/18
– Kings School Athletics Physiotherapist 2018
– Northern NSW Football Physiotherapist 2014
Some of his other experience includes working at the Blackmore’s Running Festival and Oxfam Trailwalker along with various level AFL, football, basketball and athletics teams.
James has recently moved to the Central Coast from Sydney and is looking forward to getting involved with the local sporting teams and surfing his favourite breaks. He also enjoys a game of golf and going for hikes with his family.

James’ areas of interest include:
Injuries: ACL rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation, running injuries, back and neck pain.
Sports: Rugby union, touch football, surfing, snow sports, long distance running.
