Coast Sport is proud to be supporting the Mingara Relay For Life once again for 2018. Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance for the Central Coast community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.
With a vision to keep ‘the Central Coast feeling well, moving well and performing well’, Coast Sport located in Mariners Centre of Excellence in Tuggerah is a passionate supporter of the Cancer Council and in active cancer prevention. Providing a comprehensive range of allied health services including, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Sport Nutrition, Massage, Exercise Physiology and Clinical Pilates, Coast Sport provides premium quality healthcare services through clinical excellence.
Why relay?
All funds raised go towards Australia’s leading cancer charity, Cancer Council. Underpinned by research, 61,000 Australian lives have been saved by improvements in cancer prevention, screening and treatment over the past 20 years.
With an estimated 134,000 new cases of cancer expected to be diagnosed in Australia this year, we need every Australian to rally behind this worthy cause and help continue this vital work.
